On Thursday, Pantone announced “Greenery” to be the color that will be prevalent throughout fashion, design and our global culture. FALL 2016: A Unity of Strength, Confidence and Complexity

"The desire for tranquility, strength, and optimism have inspired a Fall 2016 color palette that is led by the Blue family. Along with anchoring earth tones, exuberant pops of vibrant colors also appear throughout the collections. Transcending gender, these unexpectedly vivacious colors in our Fall 2016 palette act as playful but structured departures from your more typical fall shades.

Blue skies represent constancy as they are always above us. Grays give a feeling of stability, Red tones invite confidence and warmth, while the hot Pinkish Purples and Spicy Mustard Yellows suggest a touch of the exotic."

Leatrice Eiseman
Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute

Photorealistic renders vs retouching

As we continue to expand our proficiencies in post-work and image creation, our Photorealistic renders are on point! Using a combination of rendering from supplied CAD and Illustration files, as well as Photoshop for some massaging and realistic postwork, we are achieving Photorealistic greatness. Check out the photo to render comparison of our latest exploration for Oracle. Hard to tell the difference!

Rendering or Photography?

Depending on the material of your product, it could be a big advantage to go with renderings.
Here is why...

•flexible sharp image that can be rendered for large format
•consistent lighting and color balance - no color casting or lighting color inconsistencies
•product materials can be changed easily
•no product defect cleanups or dust cleanups postwork needed
•easier to be consistent with matching product angles and lighting on future projects
•precise masks and paths created for more simple postwork/retouching
•no need for a photo model or product unit if materials can be easily communicated
•vector art can easily be added and changed with realistic material effects
•clean, rich and photorealistic look!
